March 2019 Wrap Up
So I spent quite a bit of March trying to find myself artistically, and think about where i want my art to fit into the production world. I’m still on that journey, and probably always will be to an extent, but it did make me want to focus on more on making game based work for my portfolio. This is something i found very fun in my masters project, so it’s actually been quite a good time for me 🙂
Part of this phase is that I am also at a “down” point in my art where my ability to criticize my work has surpassed my drawing skills. This happens occasionally to many artists, but it means that it is a time for reflection and growth in my work that i need to put a lot of effort into over the coming weeks and months.
With that out of the way, here is a look at some of the game assets I’ve been working on!
this also led to a very cute design, which you can get products of on society6 or redbubble!

There’s no new video this month due to issues mentioned above, but look forward to some stuff coming this April in that department! You can always check me out when I stream Tuesday – Friday from 3pm GMT
What’s coming Up?
The first thing coming up this month is an environment callout of a japanese garden i’ve been working on, so you can expect that very soon! I’m also hoping to finish an illustration I’ve been doing on stream. April will largely be dedicated to my own learning, so you can expect to see master studies and other excercises. Starting this month, patreons of any paid tier will be getting a video look through my physical sketchbooks – you can sign up for as little as $1 here
That’s pretty much all for March, so here we go with another exciting month! Don’t forget to keep up via my social media platforms
